Biography

Zoeisha S. Chinoy received her Ph.D. in Chemistry, in 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Geert-Jan Boons at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center at the University of Georgia, USA. During her Ph.D., she developed the chemoenzymatic synthesis of complex N-glycans, and the synthesis of SKP1 glycopeptides. Following her Ph.D., she moved to France as a postdoctoral fellow to work under the expertise of Prof. Sébastien Lecommandoux in the field of polymer science, at the University of Bordeaux. In 2017, she joined the group of Dr. Frédéric Friscourt at the Institut Européen de Chimie et Biologie in Bordeaux, and became a permanent CNRS researcher (CR) in 2022. Her work focuses on glycan-based materials for biomedical applications.
