The research of Nicolas Reyes and his « Molecular Mechanisms of Membrane Proteins » team aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the function and pharmacology of membrane proteins that are important for human health and disease, in particular membrane transporters. This research combines high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy with functional approaches to probe the structures, dynamics and thermodynamics of these membrane transporters.
