Biophysics of Molecular Interactions (BIM)

SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) and BLI (Bio-Layer Interferometry) allow to monitor molecular interactions in real time, to detect an interaction between two molecules and to determine the kinetics, the association (kon) and dissociation (koff) constants, the affinity (KD), the thermodynamics, the stoichiometry and the concentration.

Samples can be small molecules (>180 Da), nucleic acids, proteins, liposomes, cells/bacteria.
