The platform has a Biacore T200 allowing SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) experiments. This allows label-free analysis of molecular interactions in real time. For this, one of the interaction partners is immobilized on a biochip, covalently or not, while the other partner is brought into contact via a microfluidic capillary device using a continuous flow of buffer. This ultra-high sensitivity instrument makes it possible to accurately determine the rates of association (kon) and dissociation (koff) between biomolecules.
