Krasteva Team Structural Biology of Biofilms
We combine cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, imaging, biophysical and biochemical assays, molecular biology and classical bacteriology to study the structural determinants of exopolysaccharide secretion and dinucleotide signaling in bacterial biofilms.
