TURPIN Sarah

  • CNRS engineer (PI: B. Habenstein)

After two years of preparatory classes in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences (BCPST), I enrolled at the ENSTBB engineering school in Bordeaux. During my three years of training in biotechnology, I had the opportunity to do an internship at the IECB on the expression and purification of membrane proteins. After graduating, I rejoined the NMR team working on Membranes and Protein Assemblies as an engineer to study the mechanisms of interaction between cytoskeletal proteins and the plasma membrane of bacteria without cell walls.
