Research on macromolecular assemblies involved in biological processes such as programmed cell death (functional amyloids) or execution of bacterial or viral infection (tubes, pilus, filaments).
I have set up the bacterial overexpression of isotopically labeled proteins (U13C15N- selectively 13C, deuterated and per-deuterated, methyl specific labeling... ) and their in vitro self-assembly for solid-state NMR analysis. At present, I am supervising the sample production activities, being in charge of the training of new team members and the implementation and optimisation of sample production conditions for new projects.
