On January 26, the official inauguration of the IECB’s new dining areas and store took place, attended by the key figures who contributed to the project’s completion. The event brought together institutional partners (University of Bordeaux), including Ms. Annie Cohen (Deputy Director General of Services in charge of the Heritage and Environment Division), Mr. Mickaël Vincent, Ms. Marion Rivière and Ms. Jeanne Baguesse from the Real Estate Department, the management of IECB-UAR 3033, and the teams who will be using these new spaces.

Antoine Loquet (Director of UAR3033 IECB) emphasized the importance of collaboration among the various partners. In his speech, he made a point of warmly thanking the funders, without whom this renovation would not have been possible.

Guests were able to explore the dining area, designed to meet the needs of both occupants and the caterers who regularly work on-site. They then toured the section set up to house the IECB’s shared store.

To conclude, a convivial gathering allowed all guests to share the galette des rois and interact in a festive atmosphere under this new wave!
