The Grand Sud-Ouest days of the Chemical Society of France will be held on

February 1 and 2, 2024 in Bordeaux

at the European Institute of Chemistry and Biology (IECB)

These days aim to bring together the community of chemists from the Occitanie and Nouvelle Aquitaine regions, in a spirit of transversality in order to encourage geographical and thematic decompartmentalization. The objective of these days is to offer an opportunity to bring together the greatest number of doctoral students and young researchers in order to promote exchanges within a geographical area representing a quarter of French territory.

Guest speakers:

Alexandre Pons (ISVV, Bordeaux, General Public Conference)

Sébastien Bontemps (LCC, Toulouse)

Sylvain Caillol (ICGM, Montpellier)

Frédéric Friscourt (ISM, Bordeaux)

Claire Kammerer (CEMES, Toulouse)

Sami Lakhdar (LHFA, Toulouse)

Danielle Laurencin (ICGM, Montpellier)

Karinne Miqueu (IPREM, Pau)

Laure Monconduit (ICGM, Montpellier)

The scientific program will be an opportunity for each participant to open up to the various fields of chemistry. Furthermore, the numerous oral communications scheduled will be opportunities offered to doctoral students from the various sites to present their work. Poster sessions organized simultaneously with the buffets will give all participants the opportunity to exchange in a friendly atmosphere. The posters will be the subject of flash communications ahead of these sessions.
