The next monthly seminar will be held on June 27th at 11:00 AM.

The speaker, Andras Kotschy, Director of the Servier Research Institute of Medicinal Chemistry in Hungary.

will present a seminar entitled: "From protein stabilization to degradation – how small molecules can have a large impact"

Joint CBMN-IECB Seminar – June 27th, 11AM

The area of induced proximity in general and targeted protein degradation in particular opened a new chapter in drug discovery and development. Their potential is well demonstrated by the significant number of compounds in clinical development or already on the market. The presentation describes some of our recent results targeting different elements of the molecular machinery (deubiquitinases, E3 ligases) responsible for the removal of proteins from cells. The discussed examples will also help to appreciate the differences between developing molecular glues and classical inhibitors.
