Centrifuges and Ultracentrifuges

Information and access instructions :

- Access to centrifuges requires 15 minutes of training. All students and staff must be trained to access centrifuges.

- The protocol for use and the list of available rotors are displayed in each of the two rooms.

- It is mandatory to balance the tubes, including the 1L pots, in order to avoid degrading the centrifuges.

- Wait until the maximum speed is reached before leaving the room. If the device makes an abnormal noise, press STOP and leave the room for your safety.

- Warn the staff of the platform before the use of organic solvents, flammable products and concentrated acids in order to check that your tubes are compatible.

- Online booking is mandatory for each use. Please organize yourself to reserve only the slots you need. It is forbidden to block a centrifuge for 2 hours for a 15-minute centrifugation.
