Cell culture rooms L1/L2

Information and access instructions:

- Several common cell culture rooms are available: L1 Eukaryote (B1-58), L2 Eukaryote (B1-41 and 42), L2 Prion-like (B1-31) and L2 Prokaryote (B1-30).

- The access of a new team to L2 requires a meeting of the management committee made up of managers, a member of each user team and a prevention advisor from the supervisory authorities (University, INSERM or CNRS). The purpose of this meeting is to verify the compatibility of the organisms, the GMO approvals validated by the ministry and the good understanding of the general organization and procedures (good laboratory practices, use of equipment, procedures in the event of an accident, procedure for inactivation and disposal of waste, etc.).

- Training of new users is mandatory.

- CO2 supply is managed by L1/L2 managers.
