Ion Mobility Spectrometry Workshop, October 24-25

IECB is organising the next TRANSBIO Workshop next October 24^th & 25^th in Bordeaux.

It will focus on the Ion Mobility Spectrometry technology (IMS).

The program will include conferences, poster sessions and exhibitions.

In addition to an introduction of this new technique and the different types of instrumentation commercially available, we will explore the wide range of applications: From separation of complex mixture analysis (e.g., pharmaceutical analysis, separation of components of wine, analysis of larger numbers of peptides in proteomics applications) to characterization of these molecules based on the ion mobility data.

About TRANSBIO :

TRANSBIO SUDOE is a European project involving research laboratories, companies, technological platforms, competitiveness clusters and technological transfer offices (TTOs) from 8 Southern European regions (France, Spain and Portugal) in the field of biotechnologies and health.

The aim is to create a Transnational Biocluster of the European South-West area in order to promote innovation, technological transfer and provide the best environments for the launch of start-up and spin-off companies.

Current program: training sessions, summer school, research mobility, field studies, workshop on rupture technologies, BtoB meetings, cross fertilization and better access to technology platforms, creation of tools and services in favor of start-up growth
