FOLDAMERS: FROM DESIGN TO PROTEIN RECOGNITION

January 25 - January 28, 2010
European Institute of Chemistry and Biology
Bordeaux-Pessac, FRANCE

Foldamers are artificial molecular architectures inspired by biopolymers. They are defined by their ability to adopt folded conformations. This symposium will focus on synthetic foldamers, their design and preparation, the characterization of their structures and folding propensity, and their properties and function, with an emphasis on biological properties and protein recognition. The workshop is held under the joint patronage of COST Action CM0803 and Marie Curie IAPP FOLDAPPI project (FP7). The opening lecture is scheduled on January 25th at 5pm. Closing of the workshop will be on January 28th after diner. Attendance will be limited to ca 100 participants.

Invited lectures, oral communications and poster cessions will be scheduled in the final program.
