Biographie

Morgane Pasco was born in Paris in 1984. She studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (ENSCP ParisTech) where she obtained a master’s degree of molecular chemistry in 2007.
She received her PhD in 2010 in the field of organic chemistry for her work on the diversity oriented synthesis of polysubstituted aminocyclopentanes to design RNA ligands under the supervision of Dr. Laurent Micouin at Paris Descartes University (UMR 8638).
She moved then to the laboratory of Pr. Ilan Marek (Technion, Israel) for a postdoctoral position where she studied a new route to access stereodefined trisubstituted enolates for the formation of quaternary stereogenic centres in acyclic systems.
In September 2012 she joined the University of Montpellier as a short term teaching and research assistant in the group of Pr. Jean Martinez to work in the field of asymmetric synthesis towards modified amino acids. She moved next to Rouen (COBRA lab - IRCOF) as a postdoctoral fellow in the team of Pr Thomas Lecourt to study new organocatalysed reactions with diazo compounds.
Since October 2014 she joined the group of Dr Gilles Guichard in CBMN (IECB, Bordeaux) working on oligourea-based foldamers as a CNRS researcher.
